Trench Safety Operations -16 hours
OSHA compliance. Basic safety concepts unique to working near and/or in trenches. Trench equipment, personnel, personal protective equipment, atmospheric monitoring, shoring, etc. Hands-on portion of the class includes preparing an actual trench for safe work conditions
Trench Rescue - 40 hrs
Train in actual trench with varying configurations. Course includes hazard assessment, scene safety, manufactured shoring, basic technical rope as it can be utilized in trench rescues, patient packing and more.
